I'm having lunch tomorrow with Lauretta Hannon, author of the popular "The Cracker Queen". She gave a seminar which I attended in early March of this year, but I had to leave halfway through to go to my sister-in-law's father's memorial service. I couldn't NOT show up for that, but before I left the seminar, I asked Lauretta would she be willing to meet me for lunch sometime in the near future and go over the important stuff I missed in the second half, and she instantly agreed to, with a smile.
What a great lady. And super smart and funny too, and fun to be around!
I'm excited about learning everything I can about marketing my work, and in particular what I'm doing right and wrong with my all-important query letters for SOULSNATCHER. Plus it doesn't hurt to rub elbows with the big kitties in the biz, and she's just such a pleasure to be around and talk with! :)
